Official vs Community SDK Policy​

We publish official SDKs to guarantee ongoing maintenance, security reviews, and compatibility with PayWise APIs. Each official SDK is documented here and promoted via GitHub releases.

Within the PayWise ecosystem we also recognize community SDKs maintained by partners. Community SDKs:

  • May lag behind the official API since they rely on volunteer contributions.
  • Should include a README detailing compatibility guarantees.
  • Must be clearly labeled when referenced in docs or marketing.

Use official SDKs for it-critical flows. When community SDKs better suit your stack, review their release cadence and open-source governance before committing to them.
